Welcome to the Division of Gastroenterology at UMass Chan

Our division is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of expert physicians, nurses, trainees, technicians, and support staff who are all dedicated to improving the lives of patients affected by gastrointestinal and liver disorders. As a leading tertiary referral center, we offer comprehensive care across the full spectrum of gastroenterology, hepatology, and adult nutrition, providing both advanced treatment and compassionate support.

We are committed to promoting wellness through preventive services, cancer screenings, and patient education, empowering patients to understand and manage their conditions. In addition to delivering exceptional clinical care, our division is at the forefront of medical discovery, with active basic science, translational, and clinical research programs driving innovation from the laboratory to the bedside.
